• This isn’t exactly a Father’s Day present – WordPress 3.0 came out a few days ago, and it’s given me the excuse to finally get around to setting up the Subvert the Space site I keep meaning to.

One of the new features of 3.0 is the ability to set up multiple autonomous sites (they call it a “network” even though it’s really not), so eventually there’ll be separate sites for me, Kay, Baz… I’ll probably set up a site for Not Normal too, since a lot of people are asking for it.

Anyway, this post is part-actual post, part a test to ensure that my Twitter and Livejournal forwarding is working correctly. Word of caution – now that I actually have a personal site/blog set up, I may actually make a personal post once in a while. *gasp!*

We don’t really do much for Father’s/Mother’s Day. But for today Kay’s taken chores off my hands, which has left me free to get this site basically functioning. I’m not really happy with my theme yet, so I’ll be doing some more experimenting.

At about 4:30 today my nephew Isaac and neice Ruth are coming over to stay with us for a couple days.
My sister Joan is in Glasgow for 2 weeks for work. Gonna be interesting for a while. We’ve wrangled the three of them before, but never overnight, and then in the mornings for school. We can handle it, but it’ll be a challenge.

On Thursday I’m getting mine and Kay’s new iPhones! We’re very excited, and are already talking about the video projects we plan to do. Because you know, we’re not busy enough.

The next few months are going to be insanely busy; we have the 4th of July, followed by ReaderCon, then a weekend on the Cape, then Tattooed Writers’ W.Ink Day, then Kay’s birthday… all this while keeping up with Crossed Genres‘ various projects.

And I’m building a new site(s) and starting blogging again. Because, er… I’ll get back to you.
